On May 11, the Guangzhou Convention of 2024 Modular Integrated Building Technology Innovation and Application was successfully held in Guangzhou. It was hosted by the Beijing Steel Structure Industry Association and organized by the Prefabricated Components Branch of Guangdong Provincial Construction Sustainable & Prefabricated Industry Association and Guangdong Grandeur International Exhibition Group. More than 100 industry experts and representatives of well-known companies gathered together to discuss new trends in modular integrated construction technology innovation and application, and to foresee new opportunities in the industry.

     Mr. Chang pointed out in his speech that as an advanced construction form, modular integrated construction has very broad prospects, but its development still faces many challenges. The prefabrication and manufacturing processes required for modular buildings are relatively complex and require a higher level of skills and expertise from design and construction personnel. New systems, new materials, hot and difficult issues in construction projects, as well as the research and application of engineering design and construction in building industrialization, intelligent construction, etc.

     Experts in the theme report said that under the current economic situation, MIC industry has a long way to achieve high-quality development.
