STEEL BUILD 2026 Concludes with Record International Participation and Transaction Volume

The 15th Guangzhou International Steel Structure, Spatial Structure & Metal Materials Equipment Exhibition (STEEL BUILD 2026) successfully concluded in May 2026 at Poly World Trade Center Expo, Guangzhou.
The 15th China (Guangzhou) International Exhibition for Steel Construction & Metal Building Materials (STEEL BUILD 2026) successfully concluded in May 2026 at Poly World Trade Center Expo, Guangzhou. With the theme of Intelligent Construction · Steel Leads the Future, the expo was held concurrently with Asia Housing Expo 2026, hitting record highs in exhibition scale, international participation and transaction results.
The 2026 edition covered a total exhibition area of 25,000 square meters, gathered nearly 400 well-known enterprises from the entire steel structure industry chain, and attracted 82,000 professional visitors for on-site visits and procurement. International buyers accounted for 30% of total attendance, with buyers from 114 countries and regions around the world. The number of large procurement delegations from Russia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa and other regions increased by 40% compared with the previous edition, with a significant improvement in internationalization.
On-site transaction results were fruitful, with total intended transaction volume exceeding RMB 78 billion, and cross-border orders accounting for over 30%. Key highlights included: the Deputy Minister of Construction of Russia led an official delegation to attend the expo; the Russian National Association of Builders released centralized procurement demands for green building materials and steel structures worth RMB 1.2 billion on site; an enterprise under the Saudi sovereign fund signed a steel structure supply order for 3,000 modular hotels, with multiple large-scale cooperation projects landed.
Exhibitors gave positive feedback, with over 90% of exhibitors stating that they met or exceeded their expected exhibition goals, and 86% of enterprises had confirmed their registration for the 2027 edition. As the flagship exhibition of the steel structure industry in South China, STEEL BUILD has become a core docking platform for Chinese steel structure enterprises to explore overseas markets and for global buyers to procure Chinese steel structure products.
