Driven by national policies on intelligent construction and prefabricated building development, China's steel structure industry has entered a period of high-quality rapid growth. Data shows that China's steel structure output is expected to exceed 120 million tons by 2027, with a market size of over one trillion yuan. Its application share in prefabricated buildings, long-span venues, transportation infrastructure, industrial plants, and cultural tourism buildings continues to rise, making it a core support for the upgrading of building industrialization.

The 16th China (Guangzhou) International Exhibition for Steel Construction & Metal Building Materials (STEEL BUILD 2027) will be held from May 8 to 10, 2027 at Poly World Trade Center Expo, Guangzhou. As the largest and most professional steel structure themed exhibition in South China, the expo focuses on seven core sectors: prefabricated steel structures, multi-story and high-rise steel structures, long-span spatial steel structures, industrial plant steel structures, bridge steel structures, grid steel structures, and pipe truss structures. It fully covers the entire industry chain, including steel structure design and construction, building enclosure systems, modular integrated buildings, prefabricated components, intelligent construction equipment, steel products and supporting materials, processing equipment and digital software.

Held concurrently with Asia Housing Expo 2027, the expo shares full-category customer resources including real estate developers, general contractors, government housing and urban-rural development departments, and cultural tourism investors. Relying on a large international buyer database, it helps exhibitors connect with overseas procurement demands from Russia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa and other regions, making it a core business platform for steel structure enterprises to expand the South China and Asia-Pacific markets.
