Benefiting from the global infrastructure boom and the explosive demand for modular buildings, China's steel structure exports continue to maintain a high growth trend. Customs data shows that in 2026, China's steel structure product exports increased by more than 25% year-on-year, among which emerging markets such as Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Russia, and Africa led the growth, with the strongest demand for large stadiums, bridges, modular hotels, photovoltaic supports, and energy project steel structures.
With mature technology, outstanding cost-effectiveness, and efficient delivery capabilities, Chinese steel structure products continue to improve their competitiveness in the global market. More and more Chinese steel structure enterprises are undertaking large overseas EPC projects, shifting from simple product export to full-chain export of technology, standards, and services. However, many enterprises also face challenges such as difficult overseas channel expansion, complex international standard docking, and insufficient localized service capabilities, and urgently need a professional cross-border docking platform to connect global resources.
Relying on years of accumulated international buyer database, STEEL BUILD 2027 focuses on inviting large procurement groups from Russia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa and other regions, including general contracting enterprises, real estate developers, energy infrastructure enterprises, trade distributors, etc., covering multiple application fields such as overseas infrastructure, cultural tourism, energy, and residential buildings.
In the same period, the exhibition will hold a special cross-border procurement matchmaking session, providing one-on-one precise matching services for international buyers and Chinese suppliers, and supporting exclusive services such as multilingual translation, international logistics consulting, and overseas standard interpretation. Previous exhibitions have facilitated a number of large-scale cooperations such as the 1.2 billion yuan centralized procurement by the Russian National Construction Association and the 3,000-unit modular hotel steel structure order from Saudi Arabia, becoming a core bridge for Chinese steel structure enterprises to explore overseas markets.
