With the acceleration of global new energy transformation, the installed capacity of offshore wind power continues to grow rapidly. According to data from the Global Wind Energy Council, the new installed capacity of global offshore wind power exceeded 28GW in 2026, a year-on-year increase of 34%, directly driving the explosive demand for marine engineering steel structures such as booster stations, foundation piles, towers, and offshore booster platforms. It is estimated that the global marine engineering steel structure market will exceed 180 billion yuan in 2027.
 
 
The rapid advancement of deep-sea wind power projects has put forward higher requirements for steel structure materials and construction technologies: corrosion resistance, fatigue resistance, and impact resistance in marine environments have become core indicators, driving the rapid iteration of new metal materials such as marine atmospheric corrosion-resistant steel, high-performance anti-corrosion coatings, and high-strength toughness welding materials.
